Mimaki TxF300-75 First Test Run: PERFECT Prints on Day 1

We finally fired up the Mimaki TxF300-75 DTF printer and ran it for the first time. Real prints, real apparel, real results.

And yeah… this thing is a beast.

The Goal

I wanted to see what it’s actually like to set up a commercial DTF printer and run a job from start to finish without babysitting the machine all day. We printed Rogue Lab artwork and pressed it onto t-shirts and windbreakers.

How It Went

The first run went better than expected. Setup was smooth, prints were consistent, and the final transfers came out clean with killer detail. This is exactly the type of reliability I want in a production environment.

The Only Learning Curve

If there’s one thing you need to get right fast, it’s the DTF film feeding through the dryer properly. Once we had that dialed, everything came together easily.

Why I Chose Mimaki

I went with Mimaki instead of a cheap Chinese machine because I wanted peace of mind. Reliability matters when you’re running a real shop and you don’t have time to gamble on downtime.

What’s Next

This was the honest day-one experience. Next up is pushing it harder with more prints and launching Rogue Transfers.
